Hi Kalene!
Professionally I bow to Eric, who says Wordsworth has a poem called 'nutting', and in French walnuts are called nuts (noix) so we believe it makes sense. I don't know if it is exactly CP style. In any case, it was a good way to pass some rainy hours...and they are pretty delicious.
