Rillette is not feeding from her mother for some reason, even though her mother is producing milk. Lydie tells us this happens this happens occasionally. Goats that are hand-fed tend to become more domesticated. Carotte, for example, was hand-fed last year and tends to stick by you when the herd is out feeding. We'll post a shot of Carotte soon.

...and Pat, I couldn't help but notice that you commented 8 minutes after Carole. Are you two using the WIFI at the spa?

Now I'm kind of sad I don't have any photos of me milking any cows on my neighbour's farm when I was 16..

80 cows a night!

Brad,

No photos? Then I don't believe you've milked 80 cows a night at your neighbour's. I need corroborative proof, man.

Now, these are the kind of pictures I want to see! Those tiny horns are making me want to faint.

(sorry for the lack of puns/sarcasm in this comment. I'm a little overwhelmed by the milk-spattered goat faces.)

Do they talk to each other like this?

I hope so.

Yesterday, number 80001 (name unknown) somehow lodged her wide end between two chestnut trees and could not escape without the strength of four human arms. Oddly, she didn't cry for help like these two in the video. This reminds me of that farside comic where scientists have finally discovered how to translate a dog's barking, to discover that he's crying, 'Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!'

Allison, Holly: settle down you two. They're just goats. With milk-spattered faces.
